No known safety issues. Sweet Inula should not be confused with a related plant Inula helenium. While Inula graveolens is frequently used in aromatherapy, Inula helenium, also known as Elecampane (distilled from the root), is a severe dermal sensitizer and should not be used. Our sweet Inula is 100% Inula graveolens and entirely safe for therapeutic use.

Difficult To Believe
Inula (especially from Corsica though Morocco is good) is the strongest most effective EO to purchase for respiratory conditions. It is also excellent as a post heart attack treatment and also helps with COPD. It gets rid of dust and smoke that has been inhaled. It has a high concentration of bornyl acetate which is excellent for the lungs/lung injury. I went through the entire list of best selling oils in order of best to last on this website and couldn't believe Inula was the very last one! Is this because people aren't aware of its respiratory benefits? Because it is so strong you don't have to use much of it so for the price it is extremely cost effective. I hope more people will try this oil; it is well worth the price.
