Safety Considerations
All ketones do not have the same safety concerns. The oils with serious toxic ketone concerns are not being sold by Aromahead.Camphor content (Rosemary and Spike Lavender) can be a concern. Avoid using oils with camphor for those who are epileptic, pregnant, or have a high fever.
In general, use all oils that contain camphor for short periods of time and in small amounts.
Ketones are resistant to being metabolized by the liver. Those with liver diseases should use only very small amounts of oils high in ketones.
