Opopanax is emotionally grounding and used to bring the body’s energy down.
This oil comes from a distiller in South Africa who buys the resin in Ethiopia. The unique strength of this distiller is in his production of oils from legendary resins such as Opopanax and Myrrh. His freshly harvested resins come mainly from the semi-arid areas of the Ogaden region of Ethiopia. The resins are collected by nomadic tribes that have been working with resins for many generations.
