Personal Experience, Research, Possible Actions

Ponderosa Pine tree is the gentle giant of the forest that at maturity can tower over 200 feet tall with a longevity over 600 years.  Ponderosa Pine is the proud state tree for Montana.  Crushing the needles produces a scent of turpentine and citrus. The distilled essential oil smells, woody & piney with a hint of citrus.  Our distiller wild crafts the needles that are used to distill the essential oil from old growth trees knocked over by tornadoes in high elevations forests, 7,000-8,000 feet.

North American indigenous tribes valued this tree for its antiseptic and vulnerary properties, using it to treat a wide range of skin issues, cuts, wounds, & burns.

We love diffusing this oil with White Spruce and Orange, to kill airborne germs and for a beautiful aroma!
