German Chamomile is especially great in a bath after a stressful day. It helps to soothe the nervous system and supports sleep. It has a calming effect and is nourishing to the skin as well. The oil has a bittersweet, deep aroma and beautiful dark blue color.
German Chamomile is also very effective when used to treat superficial inflammations such as rashes, insect bites, and burns.
This Nepalese distiller has formed a farmer cooperative where local and indigenous people participate in the cultivation and production of aromatic plants. These people have significantly raised their socio-economic status as the cooperative is providing employment and promoting cultivation in the community forest and private land owned by the farmers. All the Nepalese oils are beautiful oils that reflect a deep connection to the culture and history of this amazing country.
