Personal Experience, Research, Possible Actions
It is especially good for healing for scars (new and old). Helichrysum has impressed me over and over with its wound healing, injury healing, and cell regenerative properties. Use it in massage oils for injured muscles. Use it to help heal and clean cuts, wounds, bug bites, bruising and burns.
I love the rich curry-like aroma, the potency, and its quick action. I was amazed when I saw it growing wild in France: it is a simple, small, mustard-colored flower that is subtle and understated. The essential oil really makes a statement!
Helichrysum is known for its ability to disperse bruises. It is especially effective blended with Arnica oil as a carrier. Used to help reduce scarring. It is used for headaches that stem from the liver toxicity.
Emotionally, Helichrysum is known for its support in the case of deep trauma.
