Personal Experience, Research, Possible Actions

Engelman Spruce is a slow growing, high altitude mountain tree.  We like to add Engelman Spruce to our diffuser blends to help clean the air, especially if someone is sick in the household or work place.  Traditionally the ashes of the twigs, mixed with oil, have been used as an ointment to soothe and heal the skin. The pitch obtained from the trunk has been used in the treatment of eczema.
