Siberian Fir - Abies sibirica

Siberian Fir (also called Pine) is great in a steam to clear the sinuses.  Siberian Fir is great for the pain of chronic arthritis or rheumatism. The oil is great for aches and pains in general and penetrates the skin quickly.  This batch has less Limonene than our last batch but a significant amount of " δ-3-carene, useful when dealing with inflammation.   The aroma is more woody rather than piney.

Siberian Fir blends well with Eucalyptus and Tea Tree and steaming is the best way I know to cut off a cold before it sets in. Try doing several steams a day for a few days until all signs of the cold are gone. At the same time, use the Protective Room Diffuser Blend (recipe below) several times a day.

Siberian Fir is great for the pain of chronic arthritis or rheumatism. It’s especially effective when combined with other oils that are high in anti-inflammatory, circulatory, and analgesic components such as German Chamomile, Juniper Berry, Lavender, Helichrysum, and Rosemary. The oil is great for aches and pains in general, and penetrates the skin quickly. Siberian Fir is great to add to cleaning products.

Recipe

Protective Room Diffuser Blend
10 drops Siberian Fir
10 drops Juniper
10 drops Cypress
20 drops Cedarwood (Atlas cedarwood or Juniperus virginiana)

Add to your diffuser. For a candle diffuser, use 5-8 drops. For an electric diffuser, you can use the whole blend.
