Personal Experience, Research, Possible Actions

Saro is a powerful anti-infectious oil. We love the aroma and use it in our diffuser, make inhalers with it, and use it in chest rubs, baths and massage oils. It blends well with Ravintsara and Tea Tree for infection.

If the infection is viral in nature we like to add Sandalwood. Saro is penetrating, awakening and clears the head from congestion. Once you smell this oil it becomes obvious that it is a great respiratory oil. I also like to use it for headaches and sore muscles.

If oxidized, it may cause irritation or sensitization. It may antidote homeopathic remedies. It is too strong to use with babies or children under five years old on their faces or in a steam. Care must be taken when using with asthmatics.
