Personal Experience, Research, Possible Actions

Myrtle is a soft and lovely oil to use during a cold or flu to reduce tension, congestion and muscle pains. We also like using it to get rid of headaches and to help clear the mind when it feels foggy. It is a wonderful oil to add to a diffuser, bath or body lotion.

Another excellent use of Myrtle is for soothing a sore throat. Blend with Sandalwood and Jojoba oil and apply to the throat. 5 drops Myrtle and 5 drops Sandalwood in 1 oz jojoba makes for a wonderful sore throat remedy.

We also use it to sooth the digestion and reduce gas, cramps and an upset stomach.
