Personal Experience, Research, Possible Actions

Balsam Fir is a strong antimicrobial agent for colds and the flu. This essential oils is drying for mucous, an excellent decongestant and mucolytic, and calming for a spastic cough.

I like to use it as an anti-rheumatic to prevent and/or relieve rheumatic pain and swelling. The oil has  a great anti-inflammatory effect and is also analgesic. Balsam Fir is stimulating to the respiratory system, adrenal glands and circulatory system.

Recently I read that it would make the hiccups go away.  I tried smelling it for a minute during the hiccups and it worked!
